Project CO-LEAD - no longer accepting applications

Project Co-LEAD will be implemented by faculty in the Special Education Programs at the University of Oregon, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and Purdue University. Co-LEAD scholars will receive leadership training in research, personnel preparation and policy with an emphasis on individualized instructional and behavioral interventions to meet the unique needs of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Project Co-LEAD will train future leaders to: (a) develop rigorous research agendas that are focused on improving outcomes for students with ASD and their families through evidence based practices, cultural adaptation, and implementation science; (b) incorporate and use this research in personnel preparation programs; and (c) prepare highly qualified and skilled special education teachers who are committed to providing evidence-based practices to students with ASD.
